Snowpocalypse
Last Tuesday afternoon the snow had finally melted from all the shady bits in the yard that don’t see much sun. By 7 PM the next night I had over 20 inches on my front yard!

There’s a sidewalk from the street to my front door with steps. Those lights are at the edge of each step but you can’t even tell they’re there!
From one of my security cameras:

At least it looks pretty! Here’s what it looked like after clearing the walks:

You can kind of make out the steps in this pic. It wasn’t as bad in the back yard, but the pups were NOT amused with this situation:

I stomped a trail for them leading to the fence, that was a workout! It was almost to my knees! At least they used it. They frequently patrol the fenceline. 🙂

So yeah, that pretty much shut down the state. It was falling so fast the plows couldn’t keep up. At least we had lots of notice and the predictions were accurate for a change!
We’ve had some warmer days with some sun and it keeps melting. I guess it’s supposed to snow again this Wednesday, but not nearly as bad thankfully!
I finished my Valentine Gnomes canvas:

Hard to get a good pic of these things. I’ve got a couple more gnome-themed canvases, but I’ve returned to a Japanese Garden canvas I started a REALLY long time ago.
I’ve been enjoying re-watching Doctor Who from the beginning of the relaunch in 2005. Some of it is pretty cheesy, but there’s some really good stuff in there too. It’s been 18 years and that first season is a little rough, but it’s worth it. So far I think Season 4 is the best. You do need to watch it from the beginning though, or you won’t really understand some of the references and plots later.
I think I was sold on the show during the first season with the episode where a little boy keeps asking “Are you my mummy?”. I was pretty much sold on that episode and stuck with it after that. I need to get caught up though, I missed a lot of this last season. I usually just buy each season of episodes for streaming through Amazon. Depending on the number of episodes it’s usually $15-20. Cheaper than buying a whole subscription to some service for just 1 show. Although, I may subscribe to BritBox if it includes Doctor Who. There are some other British shows I’d like to check out. 😀
Stay safe and warm! Hopefully spring will be here soon!!

Snow was a blessing in disguise… maybe a little too much of a disguise. But we need the water, so we’ll take it.
Seems you’re doing great in the other fields, so we’ll hope you find time to continue. Love the gnomes and such.
