A big Happy Mother’s Day to all the mom’s out there, you are awesome! We celebrated yesterday with lunch at HuHot and then a fun candle-making activity at “The Wick Lab” in Draper:

I’ve got a couple of candle-making kits, I foresee some additional candle-making time in our future!

They released a new dragon quilt kit this year that’s the same pattern as the blue and red ones I did last year, but with different colors and dragon panels. I made one (and only one) this year and quite like it:

It’s hanging up on the wall in the D&D game room. 😁❤️

I’ve been focused on diamond dotz projects over quilting lately. I bought this one as a birthday present to myself this year:

Until now I’ve been avoiding photograph-like canvases. However, I thought this one was so cool when I spotted it, I just had to get it. Knowing this one is a photo, I figured I should go for the largest one offered. The smaller you go, the more grainy or “pixelated” the image looks when doing it with the beads. Well, it arrived and it is HUGE! 32″ x 42″! There are 40 colors involved, and will probably be rather boring to do – lots of blacks/grays/tans. But, I’m excited to see how it turns out!

I saw the new Dr. Strange movie this last week, two thumbs up!
