Saw Dune Part 2 today and really enjoyed it! I’m a big fan of the series though, and recently reread the first 6 books in the series. I’d be interested to hear thoughts from people who haven’t read the books. The casting is great and it stayed pretty true to the book. The producer/director wants to do 1 more, so 3 total, but won’t do more than that. Judging by reviews and ticket sales, I think it’s safe to say the third movie will get a green light soon. 😁🤞

The D&D group recently finished a portion of the campaign that took place in the Feywild. They rescued the faerie queen and were granted a wish, they wished for an airship. I loved surprising them with this little beauty last night:

The kit arrived this last Monday and it took a good couple of hours to assemble. There’s no glue involved, but it’s killer on the hands! My fingers were super sore, kind of like working with those nano Lego pieces that you have to really squeeze together. I was pretty impressed with the kit itself though:

It came with a nail file and yeah, some of the pieces didn’t want to fit together so there was some filing involved. They had a really good video to show you how to assemble it, made a huge difference:

All in all, worth it and we’re all excited for our first airship battle to happen!

I’m starting to get into the quilting mood again, so I’ll be firing up the sewing machine again here soon. Gotta love being a serial hobbyist!
